脱出の名人

父親が幼い娘に買い与えたハムスターがケージにいません。猫のスルーピーがひと声なくと・・・。

D: Pretty Oscar got out of his cage!

F: How in the world did he do that?

D: Beats me. Slow was sitting in front of his cage all morning staring at him.

F: Hm. I have a hunch hes in the closet.

D:Reall?

F: Yup. (The cat mews.) Look at Sloppy---his eyes are fixed on the closet door. (The door opens. The hamster cries.)

D: Pretty Oscar! How on earth did you get in the closet?

D：プリティー・オスカーがケージから抜け出しちゃったの！

F：いったどうやって？

D：わかんない。今朝はずっとスルーピーがケージの前にいて見つめていたのに。

F；ふむ。勘だけど、クローゼットの中にいるとおもうよ。

D：本当に？

F：うん。（猫鳴く）スルーピーを見てごらん。クローゼットのドアから目を離さない。（ドア開く。ハムスター鳴く）

D：プリティー・オスカー！　一体どうやってクローゼットの中に入ったの？

その女の子の（飼っている）ハムスターは脱出の名人です。彼女の父親は勘で、それ（ハムスター）はクローゼットの中にいると言います。ビンゴ！それは一体どうやってそのにはいったのでしょう？

That hamster that she has is the escape artist. Her father has a hunch hes in the closet. Bingo! How on earth did you get in that?
